Alberto Apostoli, from architect and designer to “Brandesigner”: “a multidisciplinary experience between architecture, design and communication”
The Italian architect Alberto Apostoli widened the framework of his activity in the “Brandesign”.
Since his debut in '97 he dealt with interior design in the field of the exhibit and the retail, to then develop the residential sector, hotelerie and the wellness. The basic idea was not to yield with the specialization of sector, but to be able to pass without difficulty from a type of project to another. It is a question of will, rather than of study: the will to exploit the experiences had in different fields. This operative method is the essence of the workshop of Alberto Apostoli, a professional reality which mixes architects, interior and industrial designers, graphs and consultants of marketing. An operative method presented in 2006 during his personal exhibition at the European Parliament of Brussels “Architetture contaminate tra comunicazione e design”. The “Brandesign” is a complete service dedicated to the companies which require to create or renew its brand. It is a rather complex communication system. It is first of all necessary to analyze the concept which is at the base of a mark, to understand which is the value the customer has to perceive, which is the positioning of the product, how to distribute it and, obviously, it is fundamental to know thoroughly the product. This model of work was born in the workshop Apostoli in a spontaneous way, a natural consequence of the activities carried on in the realization of stores, offices, stands as well as in the creation of industrial product, display units, material p.o.p, brochures, packaging. The Italian architect began with companies from tourism sector and then he worked with any type of company; he finally opened a workshop in Canton to export Brandesign in China, a country very sensitive to the Italian design. Today, the values of the brand are at the base of the fortune of a mark. Paradoxically, one could position in the market a mark which does not even exist. Passion and creative capacity remain the foundations of each project, however the artistic vein must confront with commercial needs and with a strategic system for communication well defined. Alberto Apostoli already cooperated with many companies; among the others, we can quote: Almaplena, Crhysler Jeep. Henkel, Honda Italia, La Farge Roofing (Le Monnier), Quarella, Olympus, Lamberet, The Wellcare and much of others in the field of decoration and fashion.
